Jazz Game

Our sweet neighbors watched our kids for us so Jerry and I could go to a Jazz game with our friends Jeff and Cristi. It was SOOOOO much fun. 5 hours away from the kids, free dinner upstairs before the game, and then front row seats was the best date we've been on in YEARS!
Jerry has got to be the biggest Jazz fan out there!

Jerry Sloan has quite a mouth but thankfully we didn't hear much of it:) Though he still scared me anytime he walked by!

Oh, Kyle. You have to be the "cutest" (can a married woman get away with saying that?) player in the NBA!!!!!!!!

Booner and Bollerjack, is that how you spell it?

DWilliams gave me five!

The lady sitting next to Jeff had the BIGGEST rock I've EVER seen in my life!!
It was almost tacky! I tried to get a better pic but I think she noticed and kept covering it with her other hand :) Pretty funny.

Jerry's toes on the court:)

Jed, Dave, Jerry and Jeff (grade-school friends). Awh, how cute.

Williams, Korver (sigh), and AK

This one's for you Carlie.
Jerry's cousin, Ryan's wife....got it..."kinda" dated/hung out with Ronnie Price when he used to play for UVSC (aka UVU) so I decided I'd see if he remembered her.
I wrote on a piece of paper "RONNIE, CARLIE SAYS HI!" and held it up during a time-out and waved it around until he saw it. He first gave me a thumbs up (which could mean "yeah, sure whatever girl") so after the time-out he sat down and looked back at me at which point I said "do you remember Carlie?" and he said "YES" and smiled:) There was a lady behind us and saw all this happen and asked what I wrote about Jerry Sloan b/c he was giving me a dirty look! WOOPS!!!!! Yeah, so just a few minutes later Sloan puts Ronnie in the game and call me crazy but I honestly think he was still distracted b/c he was loosing his dribble and almost seemed to have blushed. What did you do to him Carlie? Just kidding, I hope Ryan doesn't get mad at me!
We WON!

Earth Wind and Fire

My favorite song (naturally since my birthday was "the 21st night of September"), and Theo's second favorite (next to Michael Jackson's number ONE cd)
Theo has always loved to dance but this one has got to be my FAVORITE dance video of Theo EVER!

ROLL OVER!

I wasn't really paying attention to the kids as we were listening to some music and before I knew it, I looked over and saw this...he makes me laugh all the time!

No more webbed toes!

Lucy had syndactyly reconstructive surgery yesterday and did very well.  Our day started at 4am to check in at Primary Children's Hospital in SLC at 6am.  Though the doctor was more than 30min late, Lucy was such a happy baby.  Finally he arrived around 8am and as the anesthesiologist took her away, she looked back at Jerry and I and stuck her tongue out at us (in a loving manner).  It was pretty cute; made me feel better than if she were screaming "NO don't take me!!"  It only took about an hour and when I went back to see her, she was quite content with a bottle of juice and happy.  The nurse said she made her day:)  After monitoring her for a while, and after throwing up all the juice (that was the first time she'd had juice), we were able to take her home.  We were soooo grateful everything went well.  Thanks to all those who prayed for her and an extra BIG thanks to Sharon for watching Theo all day!!

We HAD to get pics of the feet responsible for Lucy's surgery...thanks daddy :)
It's funny how you can't even tell Jerry has webbed toes with Lucy's next to his!

Lucy rocking out waiting for the doctor to arrive

Right out of surgery

Lucy has never been a cuddly baby so we had to get a picture of this!
I loved all 5 seconds of it!

Jerry and I were starving so we stopped to get breakfast on the way home.  Look how happy she is for just being out of surgery...must be the meds!

Day after surgery, happy as a lark.
Theo sporting his new hair cut (thank you very much)

Here she is sporting her big booties!  80's are back right?
