An Obama Halloween

I took a quick video of Jerry filming his short ad that he posted on YouTube. What I got is TOO funny not to share! Check out Jerry's finished project...sorry if you're an Obama

Happy Halloween

I was excited for this year's Halloween...Theo can walk and talk unlike last year. Well the excitement soon left as we went trick-or-treating down Center Street in Provo. Too many bodies bumping into each other! Theo didn't understand the concept of collecting as much candy as possible. Rather, he wanted to eat the candy as soon as he got it. It was a very slow process. Luckily our ward had a trunk-or-treat in the church parking lot where that went better.
Theo was a cute monkey and Lucy and I were Snow White--just in case you couldn't tell.

I'm 28! No seriously.

I had the best birthday because it fell on a Sunday which meant I celebrated it all weekend. Friday night, Jerry and I got dressed up and went to our Stake Ball--probably the most romantic thing we've done since we were dating...sad, I know. Saturday we watched the Cougars kill yet another team and then Dave and Sharon watched our kids so we could go to a movie and dinner. Then Sunday, Jerry made a french toast and eggs before I even got out of bed. Then we drove up Hobble Creek canyon and enjoyed seeing the beautiful fall colors. I wished so badly we had someone with us to take our family pictures but we didn't, so luckily there is a nifty thing called a timer and a trunk of a car. After church, Justin's fiance, Pualei, made us dinner and had "better than you know what"...cake. YUMMY!! Thanks for making my birthday a good one:) And could there be a more beautiful time of year than the month of SEPTEMBER!?!
Wow! Jerry looked so HANDSOME in his suit--after we brushed off the cobwebs! :)

Doesn't Lucy look so much like her daddy?

This spot is where Jerry took me on the most romantic date ever. It is so georgeous, it seems surreal!

Thanks for such a beautiful day Jerry! I LOVE YOU!!

Theo blew out my one candle (Jerry was in charge of bringing the candles) since his cousins ended up blowing out his candle on his birthday!

Theo 2nd Bday Party!

Here is our birthday boy. We had lots of fun at the park with friends and family. Thanks for all who came and for all the fun presents! For those of you that didn't make it...you really missed out. You really should reconsider moving closer to us, namely you mom! Look at this face! How can you say no?

My sorry attempt at making him a cool snake cake--he liked it and that's all the matters! "Geen" is his favorite color these days. I wish I could say that it looked better in person, but it didn't.

Jelly bean eyes and a "fruit by the foot" tongue will never disappoint a two year old!

Nap time

Theo has officially hit the TERRIBLE 2's. He used to love naps, these days he finds any excuse to try and get out of his room. I figured as long as I had him in his room for "quiet" time, he'd eventually get the idea that if he wants to sleep, now's the time. Well after the past few experiences, I think I'll be checking in on him more frequently. This is how I found him sleeping one morning. How the drawer didn't break, I'm not sure!

Theo was pretty quiet for a good 30-45 min after a pretty big tantrum so I thought "Yes, he finally fell asleep!" Yeah, not so much. Not only did he destroy his room, he decided to pull out all of the baby wipes and carefully shove them down the side of his bed. I'm supposed to laugh at this right?

Rice Cereal

So I was curious the other day. I wonder if Lucy's ready for solids. Here's how it went. Enjoy.

Bumbo!

Lucy loves to look around so much I decided she could see more sitting than on the floor. I think she likes it. What do you think?
